An initiative aiming to strengthen the creative documentary industry with events and workshops bringing new impulses in the way of film production and use of the new media and internet platforms. The NGO was founded by Andrea Prenghyova – journalist, filmmaker, documentary film producer and founder of Institute of Documentary Prague (the biggest institution supporting documentary in eastern Europe), where, as the CEO for over 10 years, she has been creating and leading projects supporting the east European documentary industry.

NP logo Nordisk Panorama /SE/
A fully-fledged film festival, industry event and meeting point for filmmakers, distributors, financiers and audiences alike. Nordisk Panorama is taking the pulse on the current Nordic short and documentary film scene and every year it attracts 700+ delegates from more than 20 countries to a wide range of activities taking place during five days in September.
Since 2013 the festival takes place in Malmö, Sweden.
Nordisk Panorama has existed since 1990 and has grown from a film festival to a full scale industry event and meeting place for the professional Nordic short film and documentary community. In addition to the festival programme that offers the best from the current Nordic short film and documentary scene, Nordisk Panorama features two major parallel industry events: Nordisk Forum for the Co-financing of Documentaries and the Nordisk Panorama Market. Furthermore Nordisk Panorama offers various seminars, master classes, side programmes, parties, open forums and network opportunities for professionals and audiences.

Asociácia nezávislých producentov /SK/
The Association of Independent Producers (ANP) was created in 2010 as a platform for the protection of the interests of independent producers of audiovisual works. The objectives of its activities are to create a communication platform for producers, protect the interests of the audiovisual industry and promote the common interests of members of the association, creating a platform for technological, business and ethical standards of the audiovisual industry, creating an environment for the implementation and protection of intellectual property rights, cooperation with regulatory authorities and other public authorities, particularly in the preparation of the regulatory environment, representation in international organisations, members of the audiovisual industry, statistical information and creating databases for the audiovisual industry and the mutual sharing of such information.
The Association is co-financing and co-organizing the DOK.Incubator workshop session in Slovakia.

Film i Skåne is a regional centre for film with the task of promoting all aspects of films, commissioned and financed by Region Skåne. Film i Skåne has been in operation since 1995. Since 2009, Film i Skåne AB is part of Business Region Skåne.
The regional film work of Film i Skåne is run in five main fields – Film Education, Screening, Production, Ystad Studios and Southern Sweden Film Commission. Film i Skåne takes an overall view, which means that they see a progression where film education – see, talk about and make films – results in the creation of an interested and demanding audience. This audience consists of active cinema-goers and media users, who will also be tomorrow’s filmmakers. The creation of meeting places, workshops, festivals and marketplaces inspires both a new form of narrative and the discovery of new distribution opportunities to reach new viewers.

UMW acts as a content aggregator for several Video on Demand (VoD) platforms (iTunes, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Sony,…) and closely curates the marketing and editorial positioning of the films in order to maximise their visibility.

ifp_logoThe Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) /US/
Founded in 1979, IFP is the largest and oldest not-for- profit dedicated to independent film in US. It represents a growing network of 10,000 storytellers around the world, and plays a key role in developing 350 new feature and documentary films each year. IFP guides storytellers through the process of making and distributing their work. It offers creative, technological and business support through year-round programming, which includes Filmmaker Magazine, Independent Film Week, Envision, The Gotham Independent Film Awards, and the Independent Filmmaker Labs. IFP’s latest initiative, the Made in NY Media Center by IFP, is an incubator space developed with the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, where storytellers from multiple disciplines, industries, and platforms can create, collaborate and connect.

Krakow Film Foundation /PL/
Krakow Film Foundation is the main organiser of Krakow Film Festival existing from 1961. It was established in order to increase the possibilities on different fields related to film: besides the festival, the Foundation also organises other film events. The main goals of the Foundation are popularisation of the film and culture, film education, promotion of high quality films both in Poland and abroad, assisting in the professional and artistic development of filmmakers and the support of the artistically ambitious film projects.
The Foundation cooperates on the promotion of the workshop among Polish filmmakers and scouts potential participants.

Speakeasy Project was founded in 2004 in Budapest. SEP also operates in Germany and in Turkey (SEP Berlin and SEP Izmir) since 2013. SEP is a film production and communications company with a strong creative focus and an appetite for documentaries. SEP also offers professional film service to foreign production companies. SEP has worked on commercial films, communication projects, television programs and documentaries. Their documentary series Leave/Stay won the Erasmus Euromedia Award.

SEP’s first feature length documentary, ULTRA was co-produced by HBO Europe and Anemon Productions (Greece). ULTRA premiered in Visions Du Réel in 2017 and was shortlisted for  best documentary for European Film Awards.


Laokoon Filmgroup /HU/
Laokoon Filmgroup is a young generation production company founded by Gabor Sipos and Gabor Rajna. It focuses on the development, and production of high-quality auteur feature films, creative documentaries and shorts. There are 3 producers: Gabor Sipos and Judit Stalter do project development, applications and take part of European cinema having international network. Gabor Rajna is line-producing all projects, and runs the company. Laokoon concentrates on co-productions with both International and Hungarian partners. Laokoon Film cooperates on the promotion of the workshop among Hungarian filmmakers and scouts potential participants.
