Katja Dringenberg has been working in the German film industry for more than 30 years. She works on both: documentaries and feature films for the cinema. She can prove her knowledge, experience, and passion for film in many works and implement it successfully. It is certainly her merit when films she worked on have received the highest awards. She edited the early films of Tom Tykwer, won the German Camara Award twice and many of her works were awarded and shown on international festivals like Venice International Festival or IDFA. Katja Dringenberg held numerous masterclasses on editing: at Visions du Réel Nyon Film Festival together with the film composer Marcel Vaid or at the IDFA Summer Camp. She sat in many film commissions such as Hessian Film Funding or Swiss Film Funding. She is connected with many European filmmakers and works in France, Tunisia, Sweden, Italy, and Switzerland. In 2019 Katja was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
