Vojtěch Rynda has been writing about culture, especially film, since 2001. He has been a freelance contributor to daily, weekly, monthly and web periodicals, from 2008 to 2011 he worked in the cultural section of Lidové noviny, from 2011 to 2018 in the magazines Týden and Instinkt, and now he mostly writes for the weekly Reflex. He graduated in Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and Bachelor of Arts in Humanities at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, and completed study stays at the Université Paris 8 (Erasmus) and the University of California Santa Barbara (Fulbright). He co-founded the Association of Czech Film Critics and is a member of FIPRESCI.
