Kateryna graduated in History of Arts at Charles University in Prague. She also studied The Theory of Art in the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. During her studies, she was focused on topics such as the perception of documentary media and self-representation in virtual spaces. Starting as an independent curator, she continued her path by working as a set and costume designer. Kateryna also produced a few short documentaries and was working for the Ukrainian documentary production "Minimal Movie".
