Gong was born in a small village in southeast rural China. He was abandoned by his mother when he was only three months old. In a poetry writing class, Gong learned how to express emotions in his poems. Since then, he hasn’t stopped reflecting on his growth journey, surrounded by the adult conversations in his family about money, dreams, marriage, and fate. However, like all living beings, he couldn't avoid growing up. He gradually matured and began bidding farewell to his family and hometown. When Gong dreams about his childhood again, will the innocence of his youth accompany him on the lonely journey of self-acceptance?
