dok.incubator is looking for an experienced production manager for an all-year-long international film workshop in several countries (SK/PL/CZ/NL). Ideally a person with organizational and communication skills and team spirit, interested in organizing cultural events.
In a small team in the center of Prague, we offer fulfilling and dynamic work in an international environment with the potential for personal and professional growth. We are looking for someone experienced who has been fully responsible for organizing and managing larger events. As most communication is in English, the position is also suitable for foreigners living in the Czech Republic. The expected start is mid-August 2024, but there is also a possibility to participate in a workshop in June.
Job description
complete provision of workshop production facilities in the Czech Republic and abroad (invoicing, organization, standard transport, accommodation, food, premises)
communication with participants and tutors
taking care of the technical facilities of the workshop (projection, editing rooms, internet)
production of workshop press materials
supervision of planning and time coordination, cooperation with foreign partners
preparation of budgets, responsibility for their adherence
preparation of documents for invoicing and settlement of grants
running the office over the winter (production assistant is available during the main season)
Required
experience in production, experience in organizing festivals, cultural or educational events, film production
organizational and communication skills
technical skills and willingness to learn how to use new internet tools (we provide training)
independence, responsibility, and diligence
good level of English, both written and verbal
experience of working in the cultural or non-profit sector welcome
driving license welcomed
