Elisabeth is a Sámi filmmaker from the Norwegian Arctic Circle and the founder of Wonderline Productions. With a passion for storytelling and a fearless perspective, she has established herself as a rising talent in the film industry. She sold her award-winning directorial debut "The Heart of Bruno Wizard" to Netflix and SVT. The film screened at more than 30 festivals around the world, and was voted “must watch film” ahead The Frieze Art Fair by Dazed & Confused magazine. Elisabeth went on to direct a Gullruten nominated documentary series for Norwegian TV channel NRK (Sofa/Gogglebox). Rasmussen also co-produced the award-winning Argentine documentary "Llamarada"/"Blackout", which is showcased the Latin film festival circuit before its official cinema premiere in Buenos Aires. Elisabeth made a personal short documentary for Scandinavian Altibox and NRK. “Phoenix” is about her overcoming a death sentence due to breast cancer while alone in New York during Covid 19 with her little rescue dog. Elisabeth’s storytelling heritage ranges from participating in NRK’s radio show “Ekko” on several occasions, articles in The Observer Magazine (UK), Grist (US), Elle Norway, music videos and installations featured at The Barbican and Selfridges (UK), as well as international film festivals such as IDFA. She holds a MA in Media and Communications from The City University of London & a BA in Philosophy from the university of Tromsø. She speaks Norwegian, English, Spanish and is learning Northern Sámi. Stardust will be her second feature.
