Juliána Horváth is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and junior producer at LONELY Production, specializing in international fiction and documentary projects. She holds a degree in Film Production and Distribution from the Academy of Performing Arts VŠMU in Bratislava, and after transitioning to Documentary Directing at VŠMU, she furthered her studies at FAMU in Prague, where she has been based since completing her degree. Horváth combines creative sensitivity with organizational skills, supporting projects from early concept development to festival strategy. Her experience spans directing socially engaged documentaries and video art, as well as working as a script supervisor, script editor, and creative consultant. She has collaborated with award-winning filmmakers such as Peter Bebjak, Iveta Grófová, and María Silvia Esteve, and contributed to audiovisual campaigns including editing for Zuzana Čaputová’s presidential campaign. Currently, she is directing an episode for the documentary series Budujeme Slovensko for Slovak National TV and developing her hybrid feature debut through the Mediterranean Film Institute’s script program. At LONELY Production, she focuses on producing character-driven projects, leveraging her diverse experience to bring compelling stories to life.
