Julie Slovenčíková (*2004) is a student of the editing department at FAMU. She previously graduated from the art class at the Na Pražačce Gymnasium and studied at the ZUŠ Řevnice Art School, where she focused on filmmaking, dance and other artistic disciplines. In her work, she combines artistic and film vision with an experimental approach. For her film Ruvja a Morena, she won an award at the Mladá kamera festival and an honorable mention at the Ji.hlava IDFF. Her documentary Kluci captivated audiences with its authenticity. She also won the Lidice Rose at the Lidice International Children's Art Competition. She has experience in organizing cultural events, shooting and editing films for various institutions, such as the Lidice Memorial or the UMPRUM. In addition to film, she is involved in music, singing and dancing. Her versatile artistic approach and meticulous editing allow her to work sensitively with emotions and storytelling.
