Kamila enrolled in the Cinematography program at the Łódź Film School. There, she produced five film etudes, assuming the roles of screenwriter, director, and cinematographer. Her projects included four narrative films and one documentary, with three shot on both black-and-white and color film. Her experience as the director of photography expanded through working on six directorial etudes and an animation on greenscreen. In 2019, she gained practical experience on the set of Roman Polanski's "Officer and Spy," participating in a workshop led by Paweł Edelman. Her documentary, "Crossing," was recognized with the best student Heliograf award, and her journey was featured in Film&TV Camera magazine in 2021. In 2021, she worked as a second camera assistant and second unit on „Janvaris," in Latvia, directed by Viesturs Kairiss. This period marked a significant growth in her technical skills and versatility as a cinematographer. Since then, she have collaborated multiple times with Wojtek Staroń, including on films like "Wróbel" and "Ulya," which, like "Janvaris," was Latvia's Oscar submission.
