Michal Reich is a Prague-based film editor and script consultant. His films have garnered international recognition at festivals like Cannes 2012, TIFF 2019, Cottbus 2020, and PÖFF 2023. In 2023, he won the Best Editing award for The Ballad of Piargy at The Sun in a Net and Canadian Cinematography Awards. A graduate of renowned story-editing training programs such as Torino ScriptLab, Midpoint, LIM, and Script Circle, Michal has been developing scripts and teaching at FAMU since 2018. For over a decade, he has edited trailers for both TV and cinema.
