Ventura Durall is a screenwriter, director and producer of fiction and documentary films. In 2001 he established the production company Nanouk Films with the intention to create an artistic platform of reference in the Catalan and European audiovisual scene and to create new communication channels between the documentary arena and fiction films.
In the chore of his personal and creative process, Durall has explored the ultimate nature of consciousness and its connection to the narratives we tell ourselves when thinking about our place in the world.
His works have been shown and awarded at the main festivals around the world, such as Locarno, Vision du Réel, Hotdocs, Sundance, IDFA, San Sebastián, or Málaga.
