Dok.connect is a series of open sessions accessible to documentary professionals, combined with a networking opportunity for selected producers and post-production companies from Europe looking for new contacts, professional exchange and opportunities for collaboration on documentary projects.

 

The program offers a series of open program sessions, including lectures, discussions and mini-workshops focused on current developments and challenges in the documentary film industry. Participants will have the opportunity to network, meet international industry professionals, exchange experiences, and discuss current projects and professional practices.

Selected producers with projects will also have the opportunity to participate in individual meetings with European sales agents, festival representatives and broadcasters, offering a space to discuss their projects and receive professional feedback.

The event takes place as part of the second dok.incubator workshop in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic.

Guest projects

Bring your project to dok.connect and connect with professionals who can help move it forward. Meet producers, post-production companies, film funds, sales agents, broadcasters and festival representatives from Central Europe and beyond.

Selected projects will have the opportunity to present their project and production company, receive professional feedback and take part in one-on-one meetings with selected industry professionals attending the event.

 

Your project will also be featured in the official dok.connect catalogue, providing an additional opportunity to reach potential partners and industry professionals.

 

All dok.connect participants are invited to join the open lectures, panel discussions, festival presentations and networking events taking place throughout 22–24 November.

How to apply

Participation in the dok.connect open programme is open to all film professionals interested in the current documentary industry.

 

Applications with projects are open until 20 October.

 

Selected participants will receive further information about the programme, company presentation and one-to-one meetings in advance of the event.

Applications for lectures only are open until 15 November.

Fees & scholarship

The dok.connect open programme participation fee for participants with projects is €80 per person.

The fee for participants with projects includes participation in the programme, lunches during the event, and the networking dinner.

The dok.connect fee exclusively for lecture attendees is €10 per person.

All submitted applications are automatically accepted. Once your payment has been processed and your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email confirming your place in the programme.
