Valentina graduated from the School of Cinema in Milano. She started working as editor and screenwriter of feature-lenght documentaries and fiction movies, often selected and awarded by the main Festivals, such as “The Call'' directed by Enrico Maisto (awarded at HotDocs 2018), “The Disappearance of my Mother'' directed by Beniamino Barrese (selected by Sundance 2019 and awarded all over the world), “Makongo” directed by Elvis Sabin Ngambino (awarded at Cinema du Reél 2020 and selected all over the world) and “The Blunder of Love” directed by Rocco Di Mento (selected at Dok Leipzig 2020 and awarded by Doc Alliance 2021). The latest film she worked on, “Brotherhood” by Francesco Montagner, won Best Film Award at Locarno Film Festival 2021, Cineasti del Presente category. She's a regular Masters teacher at OffiCine, IED's school of cinema, and teacher at CISA, Locarno's school of cinema.
