Adam Šoltés (1993) studied film directing at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Prior to that, he studied bachelor's studies at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica, majoring in film documentary production. He comes from Košice and has a special relationship with eastern Slovakia - this was also seen when choosing the theme of the graduate film Anežka, nominated for the Magnesia Award for the best student film.
