Annelotte is a Dutch film editor based in Amsterdam. In 2009 she graduated as ‘Bachelor in Film Editing’ at The Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam. As a student she edited two documentaries that won the Wildcard Award, which opened the opportunity to work on two more films right after film school; ‘Soloist’ which played at VIFF, Vancouver International Film Festival 2011 and ‘When the War Ends’ which won the ‘Debute Award’ at the Netherlands Film festival. Shortly after her graduation, in 2011, she worked on her first international feature film ‘Isztambul’ by Ferenc Török. In 2014 she participated at the Berlinale Talent Campus. Over the years she edited a broad selection of documentaries, feature films, television series and shorts. The feature Documentary ‘Devil’s Pie – D’Angelo’ premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2019, while ‘Hold On’ won Best Narrative Short there in 2016. She recently worked on the successful Dutch Netflix Series, ‘Dirty Lines’. After being a member of the NCE (Netherlands Association of Cinema Editors) since it was founded, she joined the board in 2019, where she tries to contribute towards a more transparent and fair work-ground for film editors in the Netherlands. Annelotte contributes to organizing the, by now internationally well-known NCE-Masterclasses.
