Marianna Rudas graduated from the University of Theater and Film in Budapest, as a motion picture editor. From 2015 she edited numerous short films that competed from DOK Leipzig to the Oscar-nominating Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. In 2018 DAD’S HEART was featured in Filmhu's list “Best Shorts of the Decade”. In 2020 DUSK won a festival prize at the BIDF and competed at IDFA, FIPA DOCS, and the Sarajevo Film Festival. Since 2017, Rudas has worked on a feature documentary titled COLORS OF TOBI, as editor and co-writer. The film was supported by the Hungarian Film Incubator Programme and the Sundance Institute Film Fund. Its WP was at BFI Flare in 2021. More than 20 festivals invited the movie, such as DOC NYC and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival where the movie received the Mermaid Award. Rudas is a member of the Hungarian Society of Film and Video Editors.
