Milla obtained her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts- Documentary Filmmaking at the Stockholm University of the Arts. She took part in a 2 year programme of Tv-production specialization at Kaggeholm Folkhögskola and participated in Theatre Programme at Calle Flygare Teaterskola. She has worked for several years in production, among other things, as casting director, assistant director for commercials and director and writer for her own short films. Her main focus and passion is to write and direct films of both documentary and fiction, working closely with Martin Bergh and their company Escathon.
