In the heart of Tbilisi, Zhana, a determined single mother who spent most of her life homeless, becomes a surrogate mother for others to secure a brighter future for her own daughter, Elene. As Zhana navigates the world of childbirth-for-hire, she encounters graver challenges than she expected. As Elene becomes a teenager, she grasps the severity of their situation and pleads with Zhana to abandon surrogacy, straining their relationship. However, Zhana remains determined to provide for her daughter's future through this job. Despite Elene's attempts, Zhana risks her health for the fourth surrogate pregnancy. Losing her uterus during complicated childbirth, Zhana has to abruptly end her career as a surrogate mother. Despite the looming threat of homelessness returning once more, the bond between mother and daughter emerges stronger as they navigate their newfound reality together.
