Fourteen-year-old Barbora lives with her father in the picturesque Slovak countryside. The love of her life is her horse Juno, with whom she competes in western riding tournaments. But Barbora’s naive, childlike view of the world begins to crumble when she discovers that her father, a police officer, is involved in agricultural corruption. She doesn’t know it yet, but if she wants to set things right, she’ll have to make a sacrifice.
