Elena Gaitanarou (she/her) holds an MA in Film, Exhibition and Curation from the University of Edinburgh. Since graduation she is actively involved in the film industry, working as a programming associate for festivals and as film review writer. Since 2021, she has been part of the Thessaloniki Film Festival team, initially joining the programming team of the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival (TIDF). Since 2022, she is one of the AGORA coordinators, the industry arm of TIFF and TIDF, that promotes projects in all stages of production and distribution from the SE Europe and the Mediterranean.
