Stephanie Owens is a programmer for the Sundance Film Festival, with an emphasis on documentary features and New Frontier. She also programs for Palm Springs ShortFest, and has programmed for Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, LA Film Festival, IDA’s Getting Real Conference, and has contributed to festival and funding juries. Owens also launched the DocX Archive Lab and Development Lab Fellowships for interdisciplinary documentary artists at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University.
