Yasaman was born and raised in Tehran in 1992. Pursuing her passion for film editing, she studied at Soore Film University in Tehran. In 2015, she participated in a student exchange program, which introduced her to the Film University Babelsberg. Subsequently, in 2017, she began her bachelor's degree in Editing at the Film University Babelsberg. Alongside her studies, she has gained practical experience by working with various production companies such as Flare Film, spicefilm, Fünferfilm, and Bandenfilm. Currently, she is furthering her expertise by pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Editing at the same institution. She is now based in Berlin.
